Website Rebuilds
Replace a brittle marketing site with a faster, more maintainable system built around your team, content, and growth plans.
What we do
Over 20 years building on the web, we've developed a playbook for rapidly developing rough concepts and goals into the first version of a system that can run for years. We call it Shape to System.
We clarify the problem, flesh out solutions in live, working code, and get you launched with the structure and playbooks needed for what comes next.
Replace a brittle marketing site with a faster, more maintainable system built around your team, content, and growth plans.
Content models, editorial workflows, custom CMS experiences, and front-end integration for teams that need to publish without chaos.
Components, patterns, and theme foundations that connect brand design to production UX so new pages do not start from scratch.
Measurement, metadata, structured content, and privacy-aware workflows that help teams understand what is working without creating new risks.
Site architecture, content structure, APIs, and workflows that make your content easier for AI agents and search systems to find and use.
Move from page builders, legacy WordPress, or mismatched stacks into a system your team can operate and future developers can understand.
Philosophy
A new homepage rarely fixes a slow publishing process. A new CMS does not help if the content model does not match how the business sells. AI tools are not useful if your content is invisible, unstructured, or hard to trust.
The work starts by looking at the whole operating model around the website: who edits it, what changes often, what needs governance, what buyers need to understand, and where the current system makes the team slower than it should be.
Method
Live sessions, focused research, and prepared questions turn a messy problem into a solution brief, prototype plan, or roadmap.
A brief design phase to settle the UX direction, system theme, content shape, and how the brand should show up in product use before diving fully into code.
Live software, weekly demos, and a shared status tracker — you don't have to wait for the end to see real progress, and we can iterate on the details as we go.
We close the gap between working and production-ready with QA, accessibility, performance, privacy, security, and final feedback.
We hand off or roll out cleanly, support the first stretch after launch, and set the maintenance path if B&L is staying close.
B&L helped us scale from our day-one build to a site that runs like it’s backed by a full design team. They gave us the systems, structure, and speed to keep up with growth—without adding overhead.
Working model
We're small on purpose — our founder, David Demaree , is hands-on with every project from A to Z, supported by a dedicated, senior team drawn from our network. You get a right-sized team of folks who are passionate about craft and building great systems, with no big-agency overhead.
Where to start
A hard problem, focused time and attention, one fixed price
David has a rigorous, systems-oriented mind that makes complex problems feel solvable, with an ability to connect design and development decisions with the seemingly intangible and moving target of user delight. It's sort of magical working with him!
